Welcome to our t-shirt experiment!

The idea for pocket tees started when we saw a friend wearing a cool design pocket t-shirt.  We joked about all the different pockets we would make ourselves - rainbows, unicorns, hearts, etc.  Then our dad encouraged us to moved forward with the idea and we got started!  Dad helped us learn all about starting a business and what LLC & KPI meant.  Mom helped us with all the organizing, how to talk to customers, etc.  Everyone has put in a little bit of everything to make this happen.

We love pocket tees because of their functionality, uniqueness, and style.   Pockets are the perfect sized canvas for clever art that remind us of our favorite things in life.   When choosing a name for the company we started with our last name, Fortunato, but soon transformed that to FortuneTees because ours are different.  Where does the Fortune come in?  Inside the pocket.  We printed clever fortunes inside each pocket.   Fun, right?  For example, our rainbow design says, "If you want the rainbow, you have to tolerate the rain."  Each pocket style has an inspirational, and even funny, quote inside the top of the pocket.  We think these unique pockets bring a little fun to wearing a t-shirt and we hope you will enjoy wearing and sharing all about our t-shirts!  

We've been working hard to come up with some great ideas for our unique t-shirts.  Each month we’ll try to release new whimsical pocket graphics.  This has been a great adventure and we hope you'll come along for the ride.  Follow us on Instagram to help us decide what the next pockets should be!  #Fortuneteeshirts
